かつて「The Villa & Barrel Lounge（WCB用宗タップルーム）」店頭限定でこっそり出していた(！)、幻のビール「Painkiller」がバージョンアップし、名を改めリリースした『Coco-Haze』。多くのリクエストを受け、ココナッツ爆盛りアロマ大爆発なバッチが完成。

このビールの肝となる副原料のココナッツは、ローストされた香り豊かなものを、120kgどかーんと大量投入し、風味マシマシ一直線。さらにベースとなるHazyは、FHAシリーズのモルト構成を採用。ニゴニゴなめらかな口当たりと相まって、飲めばいつもいつまでもEndless Summer～🏝

トロピカルな気分にさせてくれる甘いココナッツのアロマに、バナナ、パパイヤ、そしてグレープフルーツを連想させるフルーティーなニュアンス。ミルキーなキャンディーのように甘くマイルドな香りと、Hazy特有のシルキーな飲み口ながらドライな後口が心地良し。

Huge. Coconut. Nose. Like EPIC MASSIVE tier. If you are a purveyor / connoisseur / avid-devourer of coconut in all of its forms (I’m a coconut cake fan myself), then you are going to LOVE this one. If you aren’t, be careful. It’s about as in-your-face coconut as a beer can possibly (or perhaps should even be allowed) to get. If you look(?) close enough you can also find sweet marshmallow notes, with mango and stone fruit hiding somewhere in the blanket of PURE COCONUT. 120kg of toasted coconut flakes. We even added coconut accentuator #1 “Sabro” to this one, with some Strata and El Dorado. Off-the-charts coconut. Flying a touch too close to the sun coconut.
